Flo-Ware 4 is completed
and available for download. This version is the
biggest and most significant upgrade to the Flo-Ware
software family since its original release in 1998.
Years of incremental upgrades based primarily on user
input have culminated into one of the easiest, fastest,
and most elegant software designs of its kind. This
upgrade is FREE to all
registered users of Flo-Ware for Windows.

Environmental's new external modem modules were recently
delivered to the City of Los Angeles, CA. The City
plans on using the modem modules to remotely gather data
from stationary Model 464 flowmeters. The modem
modules are to be used in conjunction with our Outcast
software program. Outcast provides the user with
true scheduled and unattended operation. Meters are
automatically called and data is transferred to the
central computer for processing.

The Rainger rainfall logger
was introduced in 1999. The goal of the Rainger
design was to produce a low cost, simple to use, Flo-Ware
compatible rainfall logger with absolute reliability in
mind. The reliability metric takes patience as it
requires "real-world" time in the field to prove or
disprove this quality parameter. Four years have
passed since the initial units were delivered to customers
and we are pleased to report that the reliability of the
Rainger has been excellent.
The Rainger operates up to
several years on field replaceable lithium batteries and
it operates with Flo-Ware for Windows, or Pocket Site-Ware
on an inexpensive Pocket PC. For more information on

As the developers of
Flo-Ware, we cannot stress the importance of taking one of
our Discovering Flo-Ware training programs enough. This 2
day course takes the customer through each and every aspect
of the Flo-Ware program. At the end of the course, the
customer will have an excellent foundation for utilizing the
many features this powerful software program has to offer.
Additionally, the customer will leave the course with a better understanding of sewer evaluation
techniques and general computer operation. Training
courses are held in regional locations throughout North
America and specialized classes can be held at your
facility.

In addition to the cities of
Cidra and Cayey, Savannah Environmental has added Aibonito
to its list of flow monitoring projects in Puerto Rico this
year. 12 flow monitors, 1 rain gauge, and a Pocket PC
were shipped to Aibonito from the Savannah Environmental
rental fleet. Pipe sizes range from 8" to 24"
throughout the drainage system. The project is
entering its 3rd month of monitoring where data is currently
being complied and managed by Savannah Environmental, Inc.
The purpose of the program is to help identify I/I "hot
spots" in key locations to help determine the impact of wet
weather flows on the sewer system.
